Non-profits and networks
IT monitoring for non-profits, from head office to the furthest site
A head office, residential homes, centres, local offices, sometimes dozens of sites opened over the years, each with its own broadband router, shared computers and habits. The IT team often fits in a single office, and its budget is up for discussion every year. FirstSI puts the whole network in one console and takes on some of the checks your technicians still do by hand.
Open-access demo, no sign-up: 138 fictional machines and all twelve modules.
SITES 2 of 64 facilities unreachable since 7:40 am
ROUTER residential home: fibre down, 4G backup active
COMPUTERS 61 sites with no anomalies
ACCOUNTS 12 accounts of former employees still active
assistant both sites that are down depend on the same carrier. Shall I draft the message?
Your constraints, and what FirstSI changes
Every site on one map
Internet links, broadband routers, Wi-Fi access points, tunnels: each facility appears with its status. You know which one is cut off before its manager calls you.
Tickets already checked
Ticket pre-diagnostics check the account, the computer, the VPN and the line as soon as the ticket is created. The technician starts with the lead in hand.
Arrivals and departures
Staff moving between facilities, short contracts, cover staff: FirstSI flags the accounts of people who have left yet are still active, and prepares the review of sensitive groups.
Sensitive records
Files on the people you support, payroll, human resources: you know who opened what, and who is allowed to, share by share.
Each site's lines
A suspended line, a used-up data allowance, a fibre cut with the router on 4G backup: FirstSI checks your carriers' customer areas and puts the answer in the ticket.
Just one tool to look after
One agent, one console, and modules you switch on as the need arises: a team that is already busy has only one tool to maintain.
In the console
Screens from the live demo, with the data of a fictional company.

Six “the Internet isn't working” tickets in twenty minutes
On Monday morning, the facilities open one after another, and the tickets come in: no Internet at the residential home, no access to the case management software in two centres, a silent phone on the reception desk of a local office.
Ticket pre-diagnostics have already grouped them. Four tickets come from two sites that share the same carrier, down since 7:40 am. Another comes from a residential home whose fibre is cut: its router is running on 4G backup. The last one is an expired password.
The technician opens a single incident with the carrier, lets both sites know and sorts out the password in two minutes. By 9 am, the queue is empty.
08:15 TICKETS 6 new, including 4 that mention Internet access
08:16 CARRIER 2 sites on the same carrier down since 7:40 am
08:16 ROUTER residential home: fibre down, 4G backup active
08:17 ACCOUNT last ticket: expired password
internal note lead: one carrier incident for both sites, let the facility managers know.
How it works
Head office first
Head office servers, directory and email, along with a first pilot facility.
Facilities in waves
One agent per site, installed remotely. It also relays the state of the broadband router and the local network.
The service desk connected
Your ticketing tool notifies FirstSI of each new request, and the internal note is waiting for the technician.
Frequently asked questions
My facilities don't all have the same equipment: is that a problem?
No. FirstSI relies on the Windows agent and on common protocols (SNMP, logs, flows). Attach your device list to your demo request: the reply will say what is covered.
Can I keep the data of several organisations in the same group separate?
Yes. The platform is multi-tenant: each organisation has its own sealed space, rules and retention period, in the same console.
Does FirstSI read the files of the people I support?
No. It traces access (who, when, from which computer) and records share permissions, without reading the content of files.
Is my non-profit affected by NIS2?
That depends on your sector of activity and your size, and your national cybersecurity authority publishes the criteria. If you are in scope, FirstSI provides the expected records: detection, logging, access reviews.
